The role bridges product design and production by turning blueprints into scalable workflows, enabling efficient, safe, and high-quality output on the factory floor. The ideal candidate has extensive floor experience, can spot bottlenecks quickly, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams, including design

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ten or more years of professional experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on floor experience implementing process improvements.
• Experience in aerospace or automotive production environments is preferred.
• Experience with ruggedized computing hardware is a major asset.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: analyze workflows to eliminate waste and improve efficiency using lean methodologies.
• Floor Layout Design: design and update facility layouts, workstation ergonomics, and material flow paths.
• Capacity Planning: conduct time studies, set labor standards, analyze equipment capacity.
• Tooling and Equipment: specify and oversee installation of equipment and tooling on the floor.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: partner with quality, supply chain, and design engineering to transition prototypes to production.
