Job summary

NORDAM is offering an INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER INTERN position in Tulsa where you will contribute to the design, development and testing of aircraft and related systems. The internship runs May through August, and you must be currently enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited college or university.

You will perform routine developmental tasks and assist in multiple engineering domains, including structural components and analytical programs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited college or university in mechanical, aeronautical, electrical or similar engineering discipline.
• Combination of experience and training may substitute for education.
• No prior experience required for the internship position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of aircraft and related hardware or systems.
• Participate in test models, prototypes, subassemblies or production vehicles to study performance under flight conditions.
• Support design and development of structural components such as wings, fuselage, ribs, landing gear or control systems.
• Contribute to analytical programs related to ground or flight testing, acoustics, thermodynamics or propulsion systems.
