Job summary

NORDAM in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Engineering Intern to apply basic engineering principles in design, development and testing of aircraft systems. The position is a limited-term internship from May through August and offers hands-on experience in a corporate engineering environment.

You will assist in design, testing and analysis of aircraft components, work with engineers, and gain exposure to aerospace programs and safety training while developing professional skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
• Combination of experience and training may substitute for education.
• No prior experience required; summer internship to gain engineering exposure.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine developmental tasks and apply standard solutions.
• Assist in design and development of aircraft and related hardware.
• Assist in test models, prototypes, or production vehicles for flight performance assessment.
• Assist in the design of structural components (wings, fuselage, landing gear).
• Assist in analytical programs for ground/flight testing and propulsion systems.
