Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Tulsa internship, seeks motivated engineering students for the Summer 2027 Industrial Engineering internship. You will support Tulsa operations by analyzing and improving interaction of people, equipment, materials, and processes with mentorship and exposure to manufacturing, safety, quality and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications: enrolled in a four‑year ABET‑accredited engineering program and full‑time availability during Summer 2027; GPA 3.0+ preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Majoring in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
• Relocation may be offered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production flow, staffing, schedules, capacity, and constraints
• Develop process, layout, standard‑work, and efficiency improvements; Support ergonomic and safety improvements
• Use operational data to identify trends, risks, and recovery actions
