Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• NDT Level II Ultrasonic Technician certification NAS 410 or SNT-TC-1A.
• 2–5 years of ultrasonic testing experience, preferably immersion.
• Experience inspecting aerospace, medical, titanium, nickel, stainless steel or specialty alloys.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency and quality documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic immersion inspections per procedures and customer requirements.
• Set up, calibrate, verify and operate immersion inspection equipment.
• Interpret ultrasonic indications and evaluate results against acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document and report defects, discontinuities and nonconforming material.
• Review work instructions, engineering specs, blueprints and customer requirements before inspection.
• Accurately complete inspection records and quality reports.
• Maintain material traceability and ensure proper handling of inspected products.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform routine system checks.
• Troubleshoot equipment, software, and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor Level I technicians assigned.
