Job summary

IMIA,LLC is seeking a Level II NDT Inspector (Ultrasonic) to perform and document VT, PT, MT and UT inspections on surface ships and submarine structures. You will calibrate equipment and ensure accurate results.

This full-time position at shipyards and customer facilities requires ASNT Level II certifications (or higher), OSHA 10, and strong safety, reporting, and teamwork. A $5,000 certification bonus may be offered on successful completion within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Level II NDT certification in VT, PT, MT, UT.
• ASNT Level II or equivalent certifications desirable.
• OSHA 10 training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using VT, PT, MT and UT.
• Calibrate and operate NDT equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot inspection equipment as needed.
• Record and document inspection procedures, results and findings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Collaborate with the project team to plan inspections.
