Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is seeking an ID&C Engineering Technical Specialist to support AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. You will work with ID&C engineers to configure data, control, and instrumentation systems for on-line test operations and maintain TMDE/IT equipment.

The role may require extended hours and security clearance. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with several years of electronics, data acquisition, or calibration experience is typically expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in electronics, instrumentation, data acquisition, or calibration; or an Associate degree with 7+ years; or a high school diploma with 9+ years.

Responsibilities

Select and apply standard methods and procedures with independent judgment.
Perform test support by configuring data, control, and instrumentation systems per requirements.
Coordinate and assist in developing, reviewing and approving ID&C work instructions.
Lead craft personnel in configuring and validating data acquisition and instrumentation systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, or a related engineering/scientific discipline

Associate degree or technical school certificate in CAD, Industrial Technology, Electronics, or Engineering Technology, or a related technical field

High school diploma or equivalent
