Lockheed Martin Space in Florida is seeking an HVAC Mechanic/Technician to install, service, modify, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems across an industrial setting. Key duties include diagnosing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with engineering and procurement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification required.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Basic computer skills.
• U.S. citizen; must be able to obtain elevated clearance for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Perform periodic maintenance.
• Perform annual equipment inspections.
• Interface with engineering and procurement departments.
• Complete work orders and update scheduler.
• Troubleshoot to locate causes of malfunctions.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems and related components.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork.
• Maintain centralized HVAC computer systems and apply program corrections.
