Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking an Aerospace Maintenance Technician in Cape Canaveral, FL. You will maintain and repair mission-critical HVAC and mechanical systems across production and facilities, following safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 6+ years in HVAC maintenance, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and the capacity to work flexible shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in operation, maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC equipment.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is required.
• EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification required.
• Able to work independently or in a team to support HVAC operations and monitoring systems.
• Read and adjust controls using testing equipment and gauges.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, testing, overhauling, installation and repairs on HVAC equipment, air handlers, pumps, motors, valves, heating systems and related control equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance such as changing filters and cleaning systems.
• Monitors system pressures and temperatures and responds to emergencies.
• Performs service on pumps, motor compressors and valves.
• Troubleshoots and repairs A/C systems, replacing components as needed.
• Uses blueprints/design specs to install or repair systems.
