Cyient Limited in East Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced Turbine Durability Structural Analysis Engineer to join our aerospace team. The role focuses on gas turbine durability with emphasis on structural analysis and compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will perform FEA-based stress, vibration, and fatigue analyses, interpret part blueprints per ASME Y14.5M, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance turbine durability and reliability for Pratt & Whitney

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5-10 years of relevant gas turbine engineering experience.
Proficiency with Pratt and Whitney Aerospace products and standards.
Familiarity with GTF Engine Compressor/Turbine Rotors hardware is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of gas turbine engine operating theory.
Experience with root-cause analysis and mistake-proofing techniques.
ITAR/EAR regulatory compliance (US citizen or eligible status).

Responsibilities

Perform structural durability analyses on turbine components to meet standards and client specs.
Interpret blueprints with knowledge of ASME Y14.5M standards.
Use FEA tools for stress, vibration, and fatigue analyses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize durability and reliability.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Maintain documentation with MS Office and ensure accuracy.
Contribute to root-cause analysis and mistake-proofing initiatives.
