Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Chantilly, VA to serve at a front desk supporting aerospace and defense operations. You will welcome visitors, verify credentials, manage access, and maintain security procedures to ensure a safe, compliant environment.

The role is full time with a pay rate of $25.48 per hour. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting that emphasizes customer service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and other guests at a front desk location supporting aerospace and defense operations, while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage visitor reception activities, including verifying identification, reviewing access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communications systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures and confidentiality requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate contacts.
