Job summary

Beehive Industries in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a NDI Technician - FPI Level I to inspect aerospace hardware using fluorescent penetrant methods per NAS 410 guidelines. The role involves preprocessing parts, applying penetrants, performing dwell and development steps, and documenting results with tight traceability.

You will work under Level II/III supervision, ensuring compliance with process instructions and safety procedures, and support internal and customer audits while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; NAS 410 training preferred.
• Must meet NAS 410 Level I Penetrant Testing training and Beehive's NDT written practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI/PT) per work instructions and customer requirements.
• Prepare parts, apply penetrant, dwell, remove, and develop per process parameters.
• Perform equipment standardization and system checks; identify out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability in quality systems.
• Interpret products for acceptance/rejection under supervision; refer decisions as required.
• Maintain FPI materials, equipment, and work areas for safe, compliant inspections.
• Follow PPE, chemical handling, UV-A exposure, and EHS controls.
• Support audits and maintain accurate records for quality and manufacturing.
