Job summary

Polamer Precision, Inc. is seeking an individual with fluorescent penetrant inspection or visual inspection experience who is either NAS 410 Level 2 qualified or pursuing NAS 410 certification. The role reports to the in-house NDT Level 3 and supports daily FPI line operations, records, and system tests.

The position requires the ability to read drawings, use precision measuring tools, and maintain documentation. A production-floor environment in aerospace manufacturing is involved.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing fluorescent penetrant inspection or visual inspection within aerospace, medical device, automotive, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Certifications, training, or education in quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing technology, or nondestructive testing (NDT) are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluorescent penetrant inspections in accordance with approved procedures and customer specifications.
• Evaluate and disposition indications in accordance with applicable acceptance criteria.
• Complete inspection and processing records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform daily, weekly, and periodic system performance checks.
• Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality system requirements associated with penetrant processing operations.
• Support audits, customer visits, and corrective action activities as directed.
• Train and mentor Level 1 inspectors and trainees as assigned.
