Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for embedded aircraft software in Indianapolis, IN. You will support development, testing, and other life cycle activities across avionics interfaces, working with world-class engineers.

Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree, with 60+ credit hours by start and programming experience in C, C++, C#, Ada, or Python. U.S. citizenship is required to access sensitive programs and security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree and enrolled through internship/co-op session.
• Must have minimum 60 hours of credit by start of internship.
• Programming experience in C, C++, C#, Ada, or Python across life-cycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Support development, test, and other life-cycle tasks for embedded aircraft software.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers to design user-focused solutions.
• Assist in requirements, design, development, integration and testing within a multi-disciplinary team.
