RTX is seeking a field service engineer to support NATO TF33 engines for the E-3 AWACS fleet. This onsite role is based in Geilenkirchen, Germany, with travel to Turkey, Greece, Italy, and the USA as needed. The candidate must have substantial TF33 knowledge and be able to coordinate with NATO and depot teams.

Experience in project management and strong customer-facing skills are essential to optimize engine safety and readiness while supporting multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience; or an Advanced degree with 5+ years; or an Associate's with 7+ years; or 12+ years may be considered in lieu of degree.
• In-depth knowledge of the TF33 engine is a must; familiarity with TF33 hardware, maintenance, and operations are required.
• Strong project management abilities and ability to interface with NATO and depot teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical interface between Pratt & Whitney and NATO TF33 customers and Depot organizations.
• Provide complete timely responses to customer technical questions and track in appropriate systems.
• Research technical issues and coordinate with program management to implement solutions to improve engine safety and readiness.
• Support coordination and participate in company teams sent out to customer locations for special inspections and data collection.
