Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking a Facility Modeling & Analysis Engineer to support AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. The role focuses on developing physics-based models, performing facility simulations, and delivering actionable analysis for ground testing of air and space vehicles.

Qualifications

S. degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related scientific discipline with 2+ years of post-degree experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Support development of Matlab/Simulink physics-based models of AEDC facilities and test articles.
Evaluate and apply standard engineering methods with independent judgment.
Prepare, interpret, and review multi-disciplinary computations and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
Apply tools to support capital improvement and maintenance projects.
Identify deficiencies in simulations and implement improvements.
Develop new simulations and expand existing capabilities for future needs.
Draft and present results to technical and high-level audiences.
Integrate system models into hardware-in-the-loop architectures and troubleshoot data transfers.
