Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) seeks a Facility Modeling & Analysis Engineer to support AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. The role develops Matlab/Simulink models of test facilities, evaluates computations, and expands simulation capabilities for ground testing of air and space systems.

The candidate should have a technical degree with post-degree experience, strong communication, and a willingness to learn new skills. U.S. citizenship is required and security clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• S. degree in Engineering, Physics, CS or related with 2+ years post-degree experience.
• Must obtain/maintain DoD Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for AEDC employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Matlab/Simulink physics-based models of AEDC test facilities and articles.
• Evaluate engineering methods with independent judgment for simulations.
• Prepare and review multi-disciplined computations and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Develop and validate new computational approaches in fluid and thermal modeling.
• Draft, review, and present results for technical and high-level audiences.
