Job summary

Protective Coatings Inc. located in Kent, WA, seeks a Level 3 Facilities Technician with strong welding and maintenance background. You will handle MIG/TIG welding, maintain paint and HVAC systems, and mentor junior technicians in a fast‑paced factory environment.

Responsibilities include tool operation, equipment maintenance, inventory, and safety compliance. The role requires 3–5 years experience, high school diploma, and ability to work 2pm–10:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• Basic Mig welding and metal fabrication skills.
• Ability to use several power tools (drills, saws, grinders, etc.).
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Detail oriented, quick learner with strong organizational skills.
• Good communicator capable of representing the company positively.
• Able to mentor lower‑level staff and train others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance and follow shift schedule, on‑call for emergencies.
• Follow all policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Operate facilities equipment including power tools, hoists, cranes, forklifts, etc.
• Maintain and troubleshoot facilities systems and HVAC, rectifier and paint systems.
