Job summary

Protective Coatings Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Level 3 Facilities Technician to maintain and operate finishing and processing systems in a fast-paced aerospace-related environment.

The role covers welding (MIG/STICK/TIG), tool fabrication, and maintenance of HVAC, compressors and rectifier systems. Mentoring of junior technicians and strong safety practices are required.

Shift is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with an emphasis on reliability, problem solving, and positive representation of the company.

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and follow shift schedule.
• Operate facilities equipment including power tools, hoists, cranes, and forklifts.
• Perform welding (Stick, MIG, TIG) and fabricate tooling as needed.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, compressors, and paint/ coating systems.
• Assist in equipment maintenance, repairs, and part fabrication.
• Mentor lower-level technicians and support production needs.
