Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls LLC in Valencia, California, seeks a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a 30-person machine shop on the day shift (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM). Drive daily production output, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement using LEAN manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

You will coordinate with production planning, manufacturing engineers, and quality teams, review engineering documents, and push safety, quality, and cost initiatives while building a strong, collaborative team focused

Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience in aerospace high mix–low volume.
CNC experience required; LEAN and Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred; ISO 9001:2000 / AS9100 experience helpful.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day machine shop production for ~30 employees.
Lead stand-up meetings to discuss priorities and issues impacting schedule.
Assign work, interpret specs, and ensure close-tolerance machining.
Manage manpower, tools and equipment coverage.
Interpret blueprints and engineering orders to resolve fabrication problems.
Maintain quality standards and participate in methods improvements and cost reductions.
Coordinate with other shift supervisors or departments for continuity.
Foster a positive work environment and continuous improvement mindset.
