Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls LLC, headquartered in Valencia, California, seeks a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a 30-person machine shop. You will drive daily production output, optimize processes with LEAN and Six Sigma principles, and coordinate with engineering, planning and quality teams to meet safety, delivery and cost targets.

The role requires 5+ years of aerospace supervisory experience, CNC familiarity, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience in aerospace with high mix-low volume; CNC experience required.
• Positive employee relations and team-building experience with strong communication skills.
• Experience in MRP environments and prior ISO/AS9100 exposure is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred and beneficial for the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day machine shop production for about 30 employees.
• Lead Stand Up meetings to discuss priorities and production issues.
• Assign work and interpret blueprints for close-tolerance parts on CNC tools.
• Manage manpower, tools and equipment coverage.
• Coordinate with other shifts and departments for continuity and efficiency.
• Foster a positive work environment and drive continuous improvement.
