Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. seeks a Fabrication Expeditor in Valencia, CA, for an aerospace environment. This temp-direct role focuses on material flow, WIP, and shop orders across a high-mix machine shop with ~68 work centers.

The position coordinates raw material movement between stockrooms, fabrication centers, Inspection, Receiving, OSP, and Finished Goods, escalating bottlenecks to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ aerospace fabrication experience.
• Ability to coordinate material movement and WIP.
• Experience expediting shop orders through multiple centers.

Responsibilities

• Follow shop order routing sequences and ensure material moves to the next operation without delay.
• Move and coordinate WIP between milling, turning, grinding, and other fabrication centers.
• Coordinate priorities with Fabrication Scheduler, Supervisors and Manager.
• Ensure priority shop orders are available at the next operation as scheduled.
• Coordinate movement of raw material from stockroom to work centers.
• Coordinate movement of completed orders to finished goods stockroom or next operation.
• Coordinate with Receiving, Inspection, OSP, CNC Programming and Tool Crib to support priority jobs.
• Monitor WIP and escalate schedule risks to keep production on track.
• Support daily production meetings with status updates on critical orders.
