Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Expeditor in Valencia, CA to control the flow of raw materials, WIP, and shop orders in a high-mix aerospace machine shop (approximately 68 work centers).

The role requires 2–4 years of aerospace expediting experience and focuses on moving materials between stockrooms, fabrication centers, inspection, receiving, OSP, and finished goods to maintain schedule integrity and minimize queue times.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of aerospace expediting experience.
• Experience moving materials between stockrooms, fabrication centers and inspections.
• Ability to coordinate priorities with schedulers and production leads.

Responsibilities

• Follow shop order routing and ensure materials move without delay.
• Coordinate WIP movement among milling, turning, inspection, and OSP.
• Prioritize shop orders with Fabrication Scheduler and Supervisors.
• Ensure materials and documentation are ready before production starts.
• Escalate schedule risks to resolve bottlenecks.
• Support daily production meetings with status updates.
