A.S. Aerospace Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA is hiring for a role to monitor shop jobs and keep production moving per priority and schedule. You will work with Production, Planning and Quality to identify delays and escalate issues impacting delivery.

Open to entry-level candidates with strong organization and communication skills or candidates with expediting experience in aerospace/manufacturing. First shift, 8-hour days, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching.
• Ability to read simple blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Monitor jobs throughout the shop to keep production moving according to priority and schedule.
• Follow up on urgent jobs and confirm progress with department leads.
• Identify delays and coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality to resolve issues.
• Help ensure completed jobs move promptly to the next operation.
• Communicate job status and elevate issues that could affect delivery dates.
