Job summary

Rise Technical in Dayton, Ohio seeks an Estimator with a manufacturing background to own the estimating process for precision machining, composites, assemblies, and tooling programs. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and PM to develop accurate, competitive quotations and support profitable growth.

The role involves reviewing RFQs, analyzing manufacturing methods, and developing labour and material cost models to enable successful program launches from quotation

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T and manufacturing specs.
• Advanced Excel skills with ERP/MRP experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for CNC machining, composites, assemblies, tooling, and prototype-to-production programs.
• Develop labour, material, tooling, and outside processing cost estimates.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management to deliver competitive proposals.
• Support customer quote reviews, negotiations, and successful program launches.
