Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Engineering Manager, APD within the Military Flight Controls Division in Irvine. You will lead engineering for New Product Introduction, drive TRL progression from concept to production, and coordinate with internal teams and external resources to meet contracts and performance targets.

You will guide technical directions, ensure plans meet cost and schedule constraints, and mentor engineers across disciplines while maintaining Parker standards and IP protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; PE is a plus.
• 10–12 years of related experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong project management, engineering documentation, and analysis skills.
• Experience applying program management principles to product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering plans and expected outcomes for a major team.
• Allocate resources and manage multiple projects and budgets.
• Act as CAM for projects using Earned Value Management.
• Mentor staff and drive process improvements and standardization.
• Communicate with program management and customers on status and changes.
