Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Wichita, KS seeks a Liaison Engineering Manager to guide the resolution of complex technical issues and partner with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to keep production moving safely while meeting customer and design requirements.

This is a 100% onsite role at the Wichita site. The candidate will lead experienced professionals, manage sections or a small department, and apply strong analytical and leadership skills to prioritize work and ensure compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET accredited)
5+ years’ experience in an engineering or technical role
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Analytical and detail‑oriented with ability to deconstruct requirements

Responsibilities

Manages experienced professionals across sections or a small department
Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures affecting sections and units
Leads cross-functional interactions with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams
Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives
Interacts with customers to resolve operational and scheduling issues
Ensures work is onsite and alignment with safety and design requirements
