Job summary

Boeing-Wichita is seeking a Liaison Engineering Manager in Wichita, KS to guide resolution of complex technical issues and partner with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams. You will lead experienced professionals and ensure production moves safely while meeting design requirements.

The role is 100% onsite at our Wichita, KS site. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 5+ years in engineering/technical roles, with preferred management

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
5+ years’ experience in an engineering or technical role.
Leadership experience and cross-functional collaboration preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
Leads one or more sections or a small department.
Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures affecting sections.
Assignments defined in terms of activities and objectives.
Reviews work upon completion for objective achievement.
Interacts with internal personnel and outside representatives at various levels.
Presents at meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Interacts with customers to address operational and scheduling issues.
