Job summary

Rocket Lab is offering an internship in Colorado where you will work closely with a mentor and a small high-performing team to apply aerospace engineering concepts to real challenges. You will learn through hands-on project work and frequent progress reviews, preparing you for a professional engineering career.

The role emphasizes teamwork, growth, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 12 consecutive weeks on-site is required, starting May or June 2027, with relocation

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical/Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs, projects).

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and colleagues to apply engineering concepts and grow technical skills.
• Contribute to real challenges with a fast-paced team and deliver results.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress.
