FALCATA is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to support critical work at the Naval Research Laboratory, offering the chance to directly impact high‑priority Navy missions.

You will conduct advanced fluid dynamics simulations to characterize aerodynamic loads and aerothermal environments across a wide range of flight regimes, requiring CFD proficiency with Star‑CCM, CBAero, Cart3D, TAOS, and CAD experience with Siemens NX or SolidWorks; strong data-analysis skills are essential.

Qualificações

• U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance is required.
• Preferred 2 years of aerospace experience in aerodynamic or aerothermal analysis.
• Experience with CFD tools and trajectory modeling is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct advanced fluid dynamics simulations to characterize aerodynamic loads and aerothermal environments across flight regimes.
• Develop and apply trajectory modeling tools and integrate aerodynamic predictions into 6-DOF models.
• Collaborate across teams to support Navy missions and deliver robust analyses.
