FALCATA is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to support high-priority Navy missions at the Naval Research Laboratory. The role focuses on advanced fluid dynamics simulations to characterize aerodynamic loads and aerothermal environments across diverse flight regimes.

Proficiency with CFD and trajectory modeling tools, plus CAD experience, is required. The position offers a competitive salary, performance bonus eligibility, and may include equity or incentive compensation as part of the total rewards

Competenze

• U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• Preferred 2 years of aerospace experience in aerodynamic/aerothermal analysis.
• Working knowledge of CFD tools Star-CCM, CBAero, Cart3D, TAOS.

Mansioni

• Conduct CFD simulations to characterize aerodynamic loads.
• Characterize aerothermal environments across flight regimes.
• Integrate aerodynamic predictions into 6-DOF trajectory models.
