Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern in Simi Valley, CA. You will work with experienced engineers to develop embedded software for unmanned aerial and robotic systems, gaining hands-on experience across the development lifecycle.

This 12-week, onsite internship requires at least a 3.0 GPA and offers relocation/housing reimbursement in some cases. You will contribute to prototyping, integration, and field testing while learning industry best practices in embedded

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with C/C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing embedded software for autopilots, sensors, and onboard components.
• Write and test C/C++ for real-time and bare-metal systems on microcontrollers.
• Assist in hardware-software integration and debugging with lab tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable cohesive development.
