Job summary

Triumph Group in West Hartford, CT seeks an Electronic Technician, Operations Support 4 Direct to provide production support for electronic hardware manufacture and testing, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. The role focuses on delivering quality hardware by diagnosing problems and applying corrective actions.

You will work with the Electronics Value Stream, coordinate with Product Support, Engineering, and Quality to meet delivery requirements, read schematics/PCB layouts, and perform

Qualifications

• 5+ years electronic product troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of microprocessor based control systems.
• Strong background in analog and digital circuitry.
• Familiar with electronic theories, laws and equations.
• Methodical troubleshooting approach.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic hardware down to component level and determine root cause.
• Document repair hardware to operational state and verify at sub-circuit, assembly, and end-item levels.
• Collaborate with Engineering on root cause and corrective action plans.
• Execute production testing and troubleshoot end items to component level.
• Gather and document test results to identify trends and support corrective actions.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.
