Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA seeks a Repair Station Test Technician to perform in-house servicing and repair of company products at the repair station. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to procedures, with guidance from Sr.

technicians as needed. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in electronics or related field, familiarity with electrical/electronic systems, and experience with reading schematics and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field or equivalent electronics schooling.
• Typically 1–2 years direct experience in essential functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to inspect equipment and data.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house servicing and repair at the company repair station.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures per procedures.
• Set up, test and troubleshoot circuits/components of repaired products as needed.
• Prepare reports analyzing product failure trends and serviceability.
• Communicate with product support for failure diagnostics when required.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering data for assembly and repair.
