Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to support Kirkland, WA-based Cabin Power Electronics. You will build, test, troubleshoot, and document complex electromechanical systems and prototype equipment for in-seat power solutions used by major airlines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent electronics hands-on experience required.
• Hands-on electronic assembly, test, and troubleshooting experience (4–6 years).
• Ability to read and review electrical schematics and PCB layouts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test prototype electromechanical systems and test equipment.
• Build and fit cables, harnesses, and basic machining for prototypes.
• Plan and execute testing, troubleshooting, and data recording per DO-160/MIL-STD-461 where applicable.
• Design, construct, test, verify, and troubleshoot custom test fixtures and equipment.
• Document test procedures, notes, data, and configurations for traceability.
