The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical procurement, experience with large BOMs, and proven negotiation and communication skills. Relocation support is offered and the role provides robust compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a buying role, electrical manufacturing
• Experience purchasing electronic components
• Experience with MRP systems
• Strong knowledge of large, complex BOMs
• Aerospace/Defense industry experience is a plus
• Excellent negotiation skills with proven term outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across levels

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement of electronic components.
• Maintain BOM accuracy and efficiency.
• Create, review, and manage Purchase Orders.
• Use MRP systems to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory.
• Negotiate contracts for quality, cost, and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align procurement.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and demand.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement cost-saving procurement improvements.
