Extant Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking an experienced Assembler to build components to exact specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision machinery. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to ensure high-quality production.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED with four years in electronic assembly, soldering experience, and IPC-A-620 preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus four years of experience in an electronic assembly environment.
• Soldering experience required; IPC-A-620 certification highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic shop floor control or document management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret lot travelers, operational instructions, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, sample assemblies, and verbal guidance to determine assembly requirements.
• Assemble chassis, racks, and final assembly hardware; install completed assemblies and subassemblies.
• Operate tools and equipment used for assembly, stuffing, and preparation of prefabricated electronic and electro-mechanical components.
• Adjust or trim materials and hardware to meet required dimensional and electrical specifications.
• Conduct online go/no-go fit testing to verify that parts and assemblies meet defined standards.
• Set up and perform operational testing of finished products using high-precision hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment.
• Execute a wide variety of assembly tasks including soldering, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, labeling, taping, marking, painting, crimping, riveting, pressing, and fastening hardware.
• Other duties as assigned.
