Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology is seeking a tool assembler to support the daily operations of the Assembly department. You will read specifications, lift and move materials, and assemble components to exact standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet defined specifications. A high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of related experience are required.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and follow advanced job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions and procedures.
  • Lifts, loads, sorts, and moves materials, supplies, and finished products between storage and work areas, using push-cart, hoist, or dolly.
  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner and uses safe work habits.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies with hand tools, power tools, or bench machines.
  • Inspects, tests, and verifies accuracy of assembled article for conformance to standards, using measuring or testing equipment, or by visual examination.
  • Adjusts, repairs, or replaces defective product parts, using hand tools, power tools, or bench machines.
  • Cleans dust, dirt, and other foreign matter from material or machine surfaces, using cleaning solution, rag, air hose.
  • Measures and marks reference lines and points on parts according to specifications.
  • Cuts materials into specified dimensions or shapes using cutting machine, scissors, or knife.
  • Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
