Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electron Beam Welder for the 2nd shift to join the team in Hawthorne. The role focuses on EB welding, assembly, and fabrication of Raptor combustion device hardware and related components.

Responsibilities include supporting tooling optimization, reading schematics, and performing preventive maintenance with reliable, precise workmanship. Candidates should have aerospace welding exposure and good blueprint reading skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of EB welding, TIG welding, CNC operation or mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience with aerospace welding and reading blueprints is preferred.

Responsibilities

• EB weld, assemble, and fabricate combustion device hardware (Raptor V3).
• Assist engineering with weld schedules and tooling optimization.
• Perform machine PM and troubleshoot issues with SME input.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and related equipment.
