Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Test Solutions Engineering team in Tucson. This onsite role focuses on designing and integrating state‑of‑the‑art test systems to support product lifecycles from lab to field operations.

You will work with oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters while collaborating across disciplines to meet performance goals. A STEM degree is pursued, with strong hardware and software problem‑solving skills valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Knowledge of electrical components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems within a multidisciplinary team.
• Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
• Develop engineering and production test systems that align with cost and schedule goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during the development and implementation phases.
• Utilize modern equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
• Collaborate independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve test product challenges.
