Job summary

PCI Aviation is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to research, develop, test, and evaluate electrical components, equipment, and systems for aerospace applications. You will work on a team to design parts and assemblies per military standards using CAD software and ensure seamless integration with aircraft systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, plus at least five years with CAD and electrical modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of engineering experience with CAD and electrical modeling software.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA and LabVIEW/PSPICE/ORCAD.
• Aircraft modification background is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to resolve discrepancies in rotary and fixed-wing aircraft.»
• Develop designs for components/assemblies for aerospace products per Military Standards using CAD tools.
• Verify modifications or repairs integrate with military aircraft systems safely.
• Ensure conformance to pre-established design parameters.
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, BOMs, and TDPs.
• Evaluate regulatory compliance of aircraft certification projects and safety determinations.
