Job summary

Aerosonic in Clearwater, FL, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to help design analog and digital circuits for avionics products. You will participate in schematic capture, component selection, prototype testing, and product verification under senior engineers.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 0–3 years of experience, and familiarity with Altium, PADS, or Allegro. On-site role with ITAR constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in electronic circuit design, testing, or related engineering activities.
• Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics principles.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of analog and digital circuit boards for avionics applications.
• Support component selection, circuit simulation, schematic capture, and design documentation.
• Participate in board-level testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Assist with PCB layout reviews using Altium, PADS, or Allegro.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and support test activities.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation and test procedures.
