Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an Electrical Components Engineer for the Standard Parts & Components team. The role focuses on providing standard part support to Aeronautics programs, controlling configuration, and coordinating with teams to resolve quality issues.

You will ensure compliance with military specifications and maintain part data throughout the lifecycle, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional groups to deliver reliable data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience with military aircraft, electrical design and component part selection.
• Knowledge of Component MIL drawings, standards, test specifications, and QPLs/QMLs.
• Familiar with GIDEPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support as the technical expert for electrical standard parts to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics programs.
• Control standard part configuration through preparation and release of program standard part drawings.
• Promote product quality through qualification of suppliers; maintain part data.
• Coordinate with various teams on standard part quality issues; ensure compliance with military and industry specifications.
