RTX is seeking a hands-on assembler for 2nd shift in Melbourne, FL. You will perform soldering, hardware installation, and post-coating after training, inspect your work, and maintain productivity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) with 1+ year of related experience and U.S. person status. Training will cover safety, quality, and process procedures, with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED or vocational/technical education with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person or eligible for export authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering, hardware installation, and post-coating after training or certification.
• Inspect own work to meet workmanship, engineering, and design standards.
• Maintain productivity to meet customer deadlines and follow safety and training requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and provide progress updates to leads or supervisors.
• Pass a soldering assessment after training.
