Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler to perform basic assembly of transponders and beacons in a clean manufacturing environment in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role includes packaging, shipping responsibilities, and inventory updates on the computer during second shift.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in manufacturing or assembly, experience with electrical/mechanical assembly, and proficiency with hand tools. This is a contract position onsite with potential overtime and a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing/assembly.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, or wire assembly.
• Basic electrical and mechanical assembly with small components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble transponders and beacons using screws and components.
• Use hand tools to complete mechanical/electrical tasks safely.
• Perform wire assembly and soldering if experienced.
• Follow SOPs and work orders to ship correctly.
• Assist packaging and labeling for shipment.
• Update inventory in the computer system on shift.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Communicate clearly in English with the team.
