Job summary

Enjet Aero, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician to support EDM operations in our aerospace manufacturing facility. You will develop work instructions, set up and troubleshoot EDM machines, and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.

The role requires strong technical EDM knowledge, precision measurement, G-code interpretation, and a commitment to safety. You will mentor operators and participate in audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience in EDM machining within aerospace manufacturing.
Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret G-code.
Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, comparators).
Knowledge of NADCAP and AS9100 quality standards is a plus.
Able to train, coach, and communicate with hourly and technical staff.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions and process documentation for EDM operations.
Set up and operate EDM machines per engineering and quality requirements.
Identify and correct machine and process issues to maintain efficiency and quality.
Interpret G-code and adjust programming to optimize performance.
Train and mentor production employees on EDM processes and inspection techniques.
Maintain quality documentation, travelers, inspection records, and process control docs.
Support NADCAP/AS9100 audits and continuous improvement activities.
Promote safety and ensure a safe manufacturing environment.
