You set up electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment, load parts, and verify offsets. Between cycles you inspect features using micrometers and dial calipers, update inspection gauges, and record results. You’ll switch jobs as priorities change, complete minor preventive maintenance, and keep your work area spotless using 5S. Throughout the shift, you track material usage, scrap, and corrective actions, and you log everything clearly—travelers, production records, and non‑conformance forms—while adhering to AS9100 and related quality standards.
