Responsibilities

• Follow safety culture and wear PPE when required.
• Operate EDM machines to shape metal workpieces to specifications.
• Obtain electrode and settings from job orders.
• Read blueprints or job orders for specifications and tooling instructions.
• Position and secure work pieces on holding devices, machine tables, chucks, centers or fixtures.
• Set specified parameter settings according to product specifications and tooling instructions.
• Perform regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area.
• Observe operation and verify conformance with measuring instruments.
• Fill out production paperwork and inspection procedures.
• Maintain specifications by troubleshooting processes and adjusting controls.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
