Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation in Springfield, NJ seeks a Quality Specialist to compile and maintain quality documentation, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data packages and on-time deliveries, reviewing certificates, travelers, and CofCs.

The role requires 2+ years in aerospace/defense documentation or QA, with proficiency in MS Office and Acrobat.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing documentation or quality assurance.
• Demonstrated experience compiling controlled documentation packages (travelers, CofCs, test records, material certs).
• Able to read specifications, drawings, prints, and schematics.
• Experience with customer websites and portal is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe pdf handling.

Responsibilities

• Compiles data packages and certificates per customer requirements.
• Review data packages for completeness, legibility, revision-level accuracy, and configuration compliance.
• Coordinate & witnessing customer/DCMA visits per quality plans and PO requirements.
• Sign off on the job traveler, data package, and CofC when complete.
• Work with customer service, shipping, and planning on RMA and document part condition.
• Communicate quality issues and escalate with internal teams.
• Assist Quality Engineers and Quality Managers as needed.
