Job summary

RTX, in collaboration with Collins Aerospace, offers a Digital Hardware Design Engineer Winter/Spring co-op focused on designing, analyzing, and testing circuit card assemblies for avionics systems. The role requires pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree and hands-on hardware lab experience, with onsite work at Cedar Rapids, IA.

Successful candidates will engage in schematic capture, PCB design, and hardware verification across mixed-signal circuits, processors, FPGAs and memories, under

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 60 credit hours before internship.
• Familiarity with electronic circuit design and multi-assembly systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate and test Circuit Card Assemblies for avionics computers (processors, FPGAs, memory, high-speed interfaces).
• Operate lab equipment to perform integration testing on hardware designs.
• Work on the schematic capture of digital/analog mixed signal electrical circuit designs.
